The year 2000.
Steve could remember wondering if he'd live long enough to see it arrive.
We celebrated a New Year, a New Century and a New Millennium.
And we celebrated the thirtieth year of our adventure.
We could not have predicted the twists and turns our jouney had taken.
We were thankful and blessed we experienced many more "ups" than "downs".
Nor could we have predicted that we would be grandparents.
